Me and this lovely lady were packing up every leotard and summer dress, and bringing our cute, little, dancer behinds to NYC. Seems like forever ago, but at the same time, just like yesterday, that we were living in a little one bedroom, 5th floor, hotter than you-know-what, apartment. The two of us made sure to document e v e r y t h i n g. From over-flowing toilets, to learning/refreshing our Spanish, running to Ailey, arriving late to Ailey, emergency rooms, Forth of July fireworks above the Hudson and soooo much more. So don't you worry, new friends! It's all here. (Unfortunately, it goes backwards so if you want to read in order, you'll have to use my archive on the side and click June then July.. sorry!) So have a ball reading all about one of the most amazing, difficult, rewarding and inspirational summers of my life. And most likely, hers too.

Aw, how wonderful that you can share that experience with your best friend! My best friend is moving to NYC soon, I wish I could go with her!!
