I can be productive, happy and feel good about my contribution to the world. I can focus my energy on myself, my work and bettering my life. With a mind that is no longer cluttered with "what ifs" and doubt, I can move forward. With a clear and peaceful mind I can accept things in the past for what they are and be in the present.

A little update

Recently I have:

started to meditate.. moved back to my parents house.. joined the iPhone world.. made plans for a trip.. laughed.. danced.. spent time with the special people in my life.. ate chocolate & drank wine.. decided that it is going to be all about me for a while..

  I do want to apologize for this very long hiatus.

Please bare with me as I start this new journey.

During the past few months, I've thought about the title of

this blog and how it couldn't have a more fitting title.

Inevitably, life changes.. and so I must change too.

Today is another day to work on myself.

nail art & new tuneage

Hello friends! Meet my tiny, ring-finger polka dots. I've been enjoying them a lot, but I think I might try to do some tiny hearts later on today. If I have the patience for it. I foresee only being able to finish the left, since painting (never-mind drawing little hearts) on the right hand is nearly impossible.

Something else that I've been enjoying since early this morning is Ingrid Michaelson's new album, "Human Again". It's amazing, so you've got to go listen/buy it! I saw her perform on Live with Kelly this morning and rushed to the iTunes store to buy it - and it has been on repeat ever since.

Obsession: Organizing, then re-organizing. DIY projects.
Perfume: Anything vanilla, coconut or scents that boyfriend picks out.
Quirk: Burping really loud. Having to wash my feet right before I get into bed.
Regret: Not starting a cook book collection before I had my own kitchen.
Starbucks: anything with coffee and caramel.
Thrift Find of the Year: Most of the "new" furniture and decor in our home. I must say, I did a darn good job hunting for things that I love at a bargain.
University: Dean College. I mean university..

Years: Twenty-three so far.
