Schedule Day

6.22.2010

This afternoon, Alivia and I made our schedules. We have all but one class together which will be super nice. This way we can go back and forth to the hottest city I've ever been too, together. Seriously, the apartment is always, at least 90 degrees. Here is my schedule for the next five weeks:

Monday & Wednesday:

9:00 - 10:20 Horton
12:00 - 1:20 Ballet
1:30 - 2:50 Body Conditioning
3:00 - 4:20 West African

Tuesday & Thursday:

9:00 - 10:20 Ballet
12:00 - 1:20 Dunham

Friday:

9:00 - 10:20 Horton
12:00 - 1:20 Ballet
3:00 - 4:20 West African

It was a little confusing at first, the way they have their schedules set up. But the faculty was super nice and pleasant about it (probably because it was still sort of early), even when Alivia wanted to change the classes she had first chosen.

We walked around on Fashion Avenue a little after we left Ailey. We found an H&M and an Old Navy. We were in need of shorts since that's pretty much all we can stand to wear around here. Silly us, we brought jazz pants and sweat pants! Ha!

If anyone has suggestions for dinners that do not include hot food, we would really appreciate them! Tonight we had tomato soup and grilled cheese. Although they are really delicious, we would rather not have to cook considering it wouldn't help the temperature any! We have salad and cereal, we are searching for some more creative summer dishes!

Tomorrow we start master classes. We have one a day for the rest of the week. Tomorrow is Caribbean and I have no idea what to expect!

Goodbye. We're going to watch a movie on our non-working television : )

You could make pasta salad. You only have to heat your kitchen up one time to make a ton of pasta, then keep it in the fridge for meals later on. I like tortelini pasta salad:)

Chef salad is good too! Or make a ton of grilled chicken and keep it in the fridge for green salads or chicken salad sandwiches!

Hope these help:)

I was thinking the same thing...make the pasta the night before, rinse in cold water and toss with alittle italian dressing...then just add veggies or whatever you want just before serving...hard boiled eggs are good in salad too!!! love moochie
