for spring to be the one and only season. Ever. I love how the first ounce of warm weather puts people in such a lovely mood. And I like when other people are happy. It's contagious.

for everyone to go over to facebook and "like" Nicole in the Making. This is a great way to stay connected. And there might be things things I post there, that I don't here. So yeah. That's a pretty darn good reason!

 

 three   

a new skirt collection. Like maybe some of these?! I wouldn't complain if some of these just magically appeared in my closet.

 four 

advice. From all of you. So we've been talking about possibly adding some chickens to our lovely little family. Do any of you have chickens? We would really appreciate any advice. I think we're looking at getting about five or six little chicks (for eggs only!!!). Not only would we have delicious eggs from what I hear, but they would take much better care of our lawn than we do. And how cute would it be to see little chickens in our yard?! So give us all the chicken-raising knowledge you have!

Wednesday Wishes!

1. Boots! Cowgirl boots, flats, heels, tall, short.. any and all kinds of boots. I could spend hours on Zappos.com {size 7.5 please}!

 

2. A bench for my kitchen. Something along the lines of this. Cause it's sweet and stuff.

 3. Fall weather. Allthetimeallthetime. I'm definitely a warm weather kind of girl, but there's something about jeans, sweaters, apple cider and autumn colors that I absolutely adore. 

4. For my best friend to have a fantabulous Birthday tomorrow! Cause she's special and deserves nothing less.

What are your Wednesday Wishes?

Wednesday Wishes {edition ?}

1} For my sickness to magically disappear. Boyfriend and I have been battling this thing for about a week and a half. And it's really starting to annoy me. Normal people would probably have gone to the doctor by now.. but yeah.. I'm definitely not normal.

2} "Love Me Do" by The Beatles to be on repeat. *Sigh* Yup. Speakers running through my house, like the ones in department stores, playing pretty much  a n y t h i n g  by The Beatles would be heavenly. But this song makes me especially happy.

3} Good luck wishes sent my way. This weekend will be the very first craft fair appearance for Handmade by Nicole. This week has been/still is, all about prepping for Saturday. My brain is confused with excitement, nervousness, joy, and anticipation. I have no idea what to expect as a vendor at a craft fair, but I really hope that it is filled with all sorts of happiness and satisfaction!

4} Summer recipes. I absolutely love cooking summer food - especially if it goes on the grill! Burgers, fruit salad, smores, fresh veggies, fruity cocktails and all the good stuff. But lately, I've been craving something different. Have a yummy recipe? Do share.. either in a comment.. or email (nicoleinthemaking@gmail.com) Okay?! Thanks! I'm sure boyfriend will thank you too!

2. I need to stop falling behind. Not having time to sit and read my daily dose of blogs is starting to get to me. Someday soon friends, someday soon. Until then, please bare with me. I promise that when you think I have finally disappeared, I will surprise you with an overdue visit.. and by then you might not even remember my name ; )

3. Housewarming Party Weekend is almost here! I hope that people show up. I hope it is so much fun, that we stay up till 4 am. I hope I'm not running around pulling my hair out. I hope it doesn't rain. I hope that our yard looks somewhat pretty. And I hope that Dana and I actually have time to enjoy ourselves. [The only reason I dislike hosting parties: the 70% chance that by the time you are enjoying it, no one is there..]

4. Almost a year ago, to the day, I was graduating college. And this weekend some of my most treasured friends will be doing the same. If I wasn't such a dummy.. I would have scheduled things differently, and been able to attend. But since I am not, I wish all of them a lovely last week of college, and a fantastic graduation!

5. I wish I had the energy to workout. Along with just an ounce of self control.. just sayin'.

6. I wish you would tell me your wishes too!
