Get outside.. breath in.
Open your eyes.. and have time to yourself.
When your mind is quiet and your body can move.
Just take some time..

Weekend at Hampton Beach..

Birthday parties and celebrations for the baby sister..

Awesome motivators, walks by the lake, lovely little critters,
and large jars of ice cold water while enjoying the sun.

Abridged version of how I have spent the past two weeks. Been so busy enjoying new friends and gorgeous weather. I never want this summer to end..

Picnics

Every summer, my father's side of the family gets together in upstate New York for the annual family picnic.

We eat way too much Italian food
yell "Uncle Lou", "Joe", and "Aunt ___" over and over cause nobody can hear anymore
sit on the picnic tables for at least fifteen minutes waiting for our picture to be taken
participate compete in the bocce tournament (if the weather allows)
watch it downpour from under the pavilion.. cause it never fails.

It's a great ol' time! I have to start saving my appetite a week in advance, just so I can try one of everything.

Pretty purples, basil, mint and citronella geranium. Love this little place.

Celebrate Merica

One of my favorite celebrations of the year. A whole day dedicated to those who serve our country, keep us safe, and have given up thousands of hugs and kisses from the ones they love.

Be thankful to live such a beautiful and fortunate life.

We started off by staying at my Aunt and Uncles sweet condo in Palm Beach Gardens. They have a patio with bright colored chairs and gorgeous palm trees all around. Perfect for sipping coffee and feeling the breeze.

We went to the beach for a couple of hours where we collected sea shells, walked in the water and welcomed the sunkissed glow.

We traveled down Jupiter Beach a little ways to watch some wind surfers. They were so graceful and fluid floating from water to air seamlessly.

The sun was hot and the air was muggy, so there was very little hair styling to be done. In an instant we were sweating blobs with greasy, sunscreeny hair and sandy feet. Exactly what I love about the Florida weather.

Later Thursday night we checked into our hotel, went to dinner and welcomed our cousin who would spend the rest of the weekend with us!

Part II coming soon...
